On Saturday, April 2nd, at 9 and 10:30 pm, we begin our Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival@Sistas’ Place with Person2Person! This recently recorded project features woodwinds players Houston Person and Eric Person in the frontline with pianist Victor Gould, bassist Kenny Davis, and drummer Vince Ector. The approach of this band is both unique and significant as it is cross-generational. Houston Person, the master saxophonist, performs with the young master saxophonist Eric Person. Their latest recording Blue Vision was recently reviewed in the New York City Jazz Record (scroll to page 14). Don’t Miss This!
