Sistas’ Place, 456 Nostrand Avenue, at the corner of Jefferson Avenue, where Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is Our Weapon, continues it’s 20th Historic Landmark Season. On Saturday, April 23rd, the second part of our double header weekend is the french hornist Vincent Chancey’s All-Stars featuring vibraphonist Bryan Carrott, pianist Bertha Hope, bassist Hill Greene and drummer Newman Taylor Baker.
This all-star band has been working together for a few performances as a quartet. With the addition of vibraphonist Bryan Carrott, there will definitely be another dimension to what is already a beautiful sounding unit.
