Sistas’ Place, 456 Nostrand Avenue, at the corner of Jefferson and Frederick Douglass Square, where Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is our Weapon, is in the summer break of its 26th year with the music of Resistance, Resilience, and Resurgence. Sistas’ Place is a Historic Landmark Institution!

On Saturday, August 20th we present the Reggie Woods Band featuring Reggie Woods (Bandleader & Sax), Anthony Wonsey (Piano), Jason Patterson (Drums), Jerry Brooks (Bass), Steve Horton (Guitar), Gil Defay (Trumpet), Latrice Cherry (Vocals), Shakim (Vocals), RJ Woods (Vocals), and Drew Woods (Rapper).
