<div><strong>Sistas&#8217; Place</strong>, 456 Nostrand Avenue, at the corner of Jefferson Avenue, where Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is our Weapon, continues it&#8217;s 20th Historic Landmark Season. Saturday, March 19th, 2016 @<span class="aBn" tabindex="0" data-term="goog_808298622"><span class="aQJ">9 &amp;10:30pm</span></span>, we continue our Women&#8217;s History Month Presentations with the <strong>Yunie Mojica/Jazzmeia Horn Band</strong> with vibraphonist <strong>Nikara Warren</strong>, bassist <strong>Matt Dwonszyk</strong> and drummer <strong>Sanah Kadoura</strong>.</div>

<div><span style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"><strong>Jazzmeia Horn</strong> is a graduate of the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and the 2015 winner of the Thelonious Monk Jazz Vocal Competition. <strong>Yunie Mojica</strong> comes the Jackie McLean, Hart School of Music out of the University of Hartford with Rene McLean, as one of her mentors, who originally brought her to Sistas&#8217; Place, while she was still a student there. These young people, combining their talents, represent a bright hope for the future of this music. This promises to be an exciting evening of Jazz: A Music of the Spirit.</span></div>
