On Saturday, April 9th, at 9 and 10:30 pm, we continue our Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival@Sistas’ Place with a Tribute to the great Dr. Randy Weston featuring T.K. Blue, Alex Blake, Sharp Radway, and Baba Neil Clarke. The maestro’s Arrival Day is April 6th and we want to honor him in his community of Bedford Stuyvesant. Need we say more?

On Saturday, April 30th, International Jazz Day, at 9 and 10:30 pm, we continue our Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival@Sistas’ Place with the J.D. Allen/Brandon Sanders Quartet featuring pianist Anthony Wonsey, bassist Steve Kirby aka Obasi Akoto, and the leaders on saxophone and multi-percussion, respectively. J.D. Allen is a young master and he is a musician who is interested in moving his community forward. Brandon Sanders is a young master and he is also interested in moving his community forward. This is going to be an event that you will need to make reservations for, well in advance!

This Saturday, December 3rd at 9 and 10:30pm, vocalist TC the 3rd with trumpeter Josh Evans, pianist Marcus Persiani bassist Dezron Douglass and drummer Chris Beck celebrating the musical geniuses of our time.

TC the 3rd has performed at Sistas’ Place on many occasions. A veteran of the Sun Ra Arkestra and the son of great musicians, TC always knows how to entertain and find that pulse that brings an audience with him, wherever he is performing.
