On Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 9 and 10:30 pm, Winard Harper and the Djeli Posse will bring in a great group of musicians that includes trumpeter Ted Chubb, saxophonist Anthony Ware, guitarist Charlie Sigler, pianist Tadataka Unno, bassist Dishan Harper, and the leader Winard Harper on multi-percussion.

On Saturday, November 2nd, Sistas’ Place proudly presents the T.K. Blue Quintet featuring Wallace Roney Jr. (Trumpet), Dishan Harper (Acoustic Bass), Orion Turre (Drums), Alva Nelson (Piano), and,  Band Leader T.K. Blue (Composer, Arranger, Saxophone, Flute & Kalimba). This event is a CD Release Party for his newest album Planet Bluu. T.K.Blue, a multi-instrumentalist, forms part of a particularly delightful group that oscillates between classic and inspired Jazz, and a form of Jazz fusion that is both explosive and poetic, making it truly enjoyable” (Thierry De Clemensat, Paris Move, Sept 19, 2024).
