Sistas’ Place, 456 Nostrand Avenue, at the corner of Jefferson Avenue, where Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is our Weapon, continues its 23rd season with the music of Resistance, Resilience and Resurgence.

On Saturday, April 13th, at 9 and 10:30 pm, tenor saxophonist Eric Wyatt with his trio of pianist Davis Whitfield, bassist Tyler Mitchell and drummer Kahil Kwame Bell, will perform. This Brooklyn born saxophonist made his debut last year and returns for another engagement with a dynamic trio backing him up.

Eric Wyatt has just recorded a new CD titled A Tribute to Sonny Rollins. He will feature a few new compositions of some of the Rollins tunes during this performance. The CD will be released in July 2019. This will be a very special concert not to be missed!
