Sistas’ Place, 456 Nostrand Avenue, at the corner of Jefferson Avenue, where Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is our Weapon, is in its 26th year with the music of Resistance, Resilience, and Resurgence. Sistas’ Place is a Historic Landmark Institution!

Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 9 and 10:30 pm, we present Cliff Lee Plus Three featuring pianist Jordan Williams, bassist Chris Haney,  drummer Will Terrill and the leader on trumpet.

This is the debut of Cliff Lee Plus Three at Sistas’ Place! In keeping with the historic nature of our institution, we present Mr. Cliff Lee who comes from a family of artists that was represented on the 1974 Strata East recording called The Descendants of Mike and Phoebe.

Cliff Lee is the father of filmmaker Malcolm D. Lee (Best Man and Best Man Holiday) and the brother of bassist Bill Lee, who, of course, is the father of Spike Lee.
