On Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 9 and 10: 30 pm, alto saxophonist Carl Bartlett Jr will present his group performing a mixture of originals, from his latest recording, Jazz standards, and Xmas songs to get us in a celebratory mode. Along with this talented young brother will be his uncle Charles Bartlett on trumpet, pianist Julius Chen, bassist Steve Wood and drummer Howard “Kingfish” Franklin Jr. Carl Bartlett Jr has been part of the Sistas’ Place roster for a number of years because every time he appears he produces great music.
