On Saturday, March 2, at 9 and 10: 30 pm, Grammy-Nominated Spoken Word Performance Artist Gh’ail Rhodes Benjamin with bassist Binky Brice present Brave Brown Sistas From The Front Lines, a collage of Spoken-Word Monologues and Music from the voices of Ella Baker, Winnie Mandela, Miriam Makeba, Ida B. Wells and Fannie Lou Hamer. We begin this series of concerts for Womens’ History Month with a dynamic presentation that will incorporate a glimpse of all the women being celebrated this month.
