Sistas’ Place, 456 Nostrand Avenue, at the corner of Jefferson Avenue, where Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is our Weapon, continues it’s 20th Historic Landmark Season. Saturday, April 16, 2016 @ 9 & 10:30pm, we begin our Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Festival in association with the CBJC Festival. The group leading off this Festival is one led by vocalist Vanessa Rubin and saxophonist Don Braden with organist Kyle Koehler and drummer Winard Harper.
This combination of musicians promises to be one that should not be missed!
