On Saturday, May 14th, at 9 and 10:30 pm, we continue our Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival@Sistas’ Place with Diaspora Meets AfroHORN featuring Ahmed Abdullah, trumpet, and Francisco Mora Catlett, drums, with Monique Ngozi Nri, poetry and vocals; Salim Washington and Don Chapman on woodwinds; Bob Stewart, tuba; pianist D.D. Jackson; bassist Radu ben Judah; and Roman Diaz, African percussion.
