Sistas’ Place, 456 Nostrand Avenue, at the corner of Jefferson Avenue, where Jazz: A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is our Weapon, continues it’s 20th Historic Landmark Season. On Saturday, May 7th, Sistas’ Place celebrates the Arrival Day aka Birthday of trumpeter Robert Rutledge, who will bring in a fabulous band featuring Jon Beshay on saxophone. Richard Clements on piano, with bassist Eric Lemon and drummer George Gray.
When Robert Rutledge plays, the sparks always fly, however, with this being his Arrival Day celebration and with this particular band, it is bound to be even more exciting than usual. Make your reservations!
